On 20th September 2013 SMTC held another fighting event in Motherwell. In the main fight of the show our fighter representing Hanuman Thai Boxing was Alex Font who fought at 60kg with full Thai rules against Mondo SMTC. The fight didn’t go the way we wished. Alex started very well but with each round Mondo’s advantage got bigger. You could see a big strength difference between these two which I believe was the decider in the end. Regardless of the result we took lessons from it and are getting Alex ready for future fights. Alex, with his brother Niko, moved to Scotland from France not very long ago. They both used to train in Lyon with Nasser Team with big names in our sport such as Fabio Pinca, Salvador, Bennoui brothers or Pictello.
