Hanuman Thai Boxing Edinburgh hosted Muay Thai Jam 3 at The Jam House nightclub on Queen Street Edinburgh on the 26th July. The show prides its self in being the only FULL RULES Muay Thai show in the UK.
It started off with pro am bouts, which were exhilarating contests over 3 action packed rounds shortly followed by 2 A class bouts. Wojtek vs Jack was the first of the A class fights with a real battle of skill and will between the 2 seasoned warriors resulting in Jack taking the victory on points.
Second was Edinburgh’s own Craig Dickson fighting out of Sumalee in Phuket against Fedriko Beko from Double K in Kent. Craig showed off his prowess in the ring with immaculate scoring taking the win after the five rounds. After the interval we kicked off back into the pro am bouts again that didn’t disappoint.
After a few stoppages we had 2 more nail biting A Class matches. First with Bartosz Batra using his powerful Kickboxing skills against young Martyn Mcbrides’ traditional Muay Thai skills, however Batra won with his shots finding their targets and staying on Mcbride. The final bout of the day was between Daniel Jedzrejewski from Hanuman Thai Boxing Edinburgh and current world champ Brad Stanton from Kiapontip Leeds. You couldn’t have asked for more from the headline bout with a chess mate of 2 fighters giving each other massive respect at the same time, not holding back anything in their shots. Brad won on a points decision after a very entertaining masterclass of the sport.
