Muay Thai Jam 2 went down a storm! Starting out with an epic head kick ko in very first round. The pro am section produced some real edge of your seat fights with local and foreign athletes. The pro second half didn’t disappoint either with Ally MacPherson taking home the Scottish International Title in a tough fight against Filip Adamiok- strong opponent from Puncher Wroclaw. Then the 56 kg winners takes all 4 man tournament being won by Rui Botelho from team Dynamite from Portugal. He fought Gorge Mann in the final which was an intense chess match .Gorge using his immense hight and long limbs to keep Rui at bay behind his superb sharp teep. However Rui’s relentless and committed style getting past to land his punishing shots resulting in a win and taking home the £1000 prize money! Finally we had a European championship bout between Wpjtek Oleksyk (Hanuman coach ) and his tough Slovakian opponent Tomac Cincik from the fire gym. Wojtek was sharp and confident from the get go. He walked his man down with strong kicks and throwing him upside down from the clinch with perfectly timed sweeps. The fight was stopped in the 3rd round when Wojtek cut his opponent with an elbow taking another belt back to Hanuman Thai BOxing Edinburgh.
